The Essentials For Every Women's Closet:

1. The Classic White Shirt: 

If there is anything a women needs in her closet it is this. Short sleeve, long sleeve, or no sleeve we all need a white silk shirt. Dress it up with a pencil skirt and heels or dress it down with shorts and flip-flops. These classic shirts will never go out of style and goes with everything.  If I could only buy one shirt for the rest of my life this is the shirt it would be.

For those colder months go with the Long Sleeve Equipment Silk Shirt in Signature style or Brett style if you want a more slim look  Pair with a leather bomber jacket, jeans, and riding boots.

And my personal favorite the Joie Rancher. Perfect for all occasions in all types of weather. I can not rave enough about this shirt.  Semi Sheer, cap sleeves, and it hits just at the right spot on your hips to give you the best shape.

2.  Jeans


 We all obviously need a great pair of jeans and with so many brands and so many shapes it is all about finding which works best for you. 
My favorite? J Brand! Although a little cliché with their notoriety with celebs there is a reason they are so well known. So many shapes, colors, and fabrics you really can’t go wrong with J brand.  My personal favorite is the Super Skinny Mid-rise. Whether I am pairing with flats or heels they make my legs look so long and the mid-rise has just the amount of rise to not have feel like I have a muffin top with out feeling like I m wearing an extra bra. 

3. Nude Pumps

If you are going to invest in a pair of shoes a pair of nude heels are the way to go. With dresses and skirts they will make you legs look even longer and with jeans they go with everything! Make sure you find a color that goes with your skin tone. This is important for getting that legs longer look.

While I don’t personally owned a pair of YSL I have heard these are some of the most comfortable and practical pair of nude pumps you can purchase so I had to add them to the mix. 


My personal favorite the Christian Louboutin Lady Peeps. So conformable and perfect for any occasion.  


For a more sophisticated look go for the Christain Louboutin Pigalles.  


4. Leather Jacket: 

Season after season leather jackets have been everyone's choice during the colder weather. Any color any shape they will last you through many years.  Always my to go; there is always some new leather jacket that catches my eye. During fall throw it over a tank. When winter hits layer it over a cozy sweater.

5. Pearl Earrings:

Just like an ice cream sundae wouldn't be complete without a cherry no outfit would be complete without a perfect pair of pearl studs. They are the perfect finishing touch on any outfit to pull it all together.

6. Gold Watch:

No one wants to be late to those meetings. Watches are a great way to add to your layering bracelets or wear alone. Michael Kors make's some of my favorite watches. Every season he comes out with a new style I want. Go bold with a colored face or classic with gold face.

7. Statement Necklace:

A statement necklace add a great twist to any simple outfit. Take a white tee and jeans throw on a statement necklace and you have a completely different outfit.

8. Ballet Flats:

If you do not have a pair of black ballet flats stop! and go get a pair. More sophisticated than flip flops more comfortable than heels you need need need to have a pair of simple black flats. 


9. Tote Everything:
 As women we carry a lot of stuff, so of course we need a bag to carry all our stuff. That's where the carry all tote comes into play. If there is any piece to invest some extra cash in the carry all tote would be it. Stay with a neutral color in a classic shape so you can carry it for years.

10. Clutch: 

We all need a carry all bag, but no one wants to go out with a large bag bumming into everything and everyone. Welcome your clutch. Here is where you can go a little bolder. Different sizes, shapes, patterns, textures go crazy! Throw it in your carry all in the morning and take it out when your ready for dinner and drinks. Also don't be afraid to use your clutch during the day.
